Treasures of the Romanov Dynasty
The exhibition will present the unparalleled story of tsar Peter The Great through a selection of artworks from the Peterhof State Museum Reserve. Peter The Great’s Summer Palace was one of the most splendid Tasr residences in Russia. It was designed and beloved by him, and was built in the early 1700’s. Later Tsars renovated and rebuilt the Palace reflecting influential contemporary events in Russia. The exhibition consists of three sections to present Peter The Great and following owners of the palace, the communication of Eastern and Western cultures and their influence on the building, and the height of royal manufacture in Tsarist Russia.
