Fabergé. Sacred Pictures

The exhibition is curated by Tatyana Muntyan and includes a stunning selection of 140 objects, including imperial Easter eggs that belonged to the Tsar’s family and precious icons from the imperial era. These were purchased and collected by Russian philanthropist Viktor Vekselberg through his historical-cultural foundation The Link of Times. The famous Fabergé eggs were made between the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, and were commissioned by Tsars Alexander III and Nicholas II. The precious artifacts are small works of art made with the finest materials, from gold to precious gems.
