Palazzo Ruspoli

Curated by Carla Alfano, Learco Andalò and Felibe Garin Lombard, the exhibition focuses on the Borgia’s. The works of Botticelli, Tiziano, Dosso Dossi, and Goya give visitors an opportunity to learn about one of the most influential families of the European Renaissance. The exhibition captures the cultural, historical and religious spheres of the Borgia’s era, on which the very origins of modern Europe were founded. Highlighting the link to modern Europe, the exhibition was made possible thanks to the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union. The Eurocentric nature of the exhibition is completed by the numerous Italian, Spanish, Belgian, Portuguese, English, French and Austrian museums that have lent part of their collections.
