The exhibition is curated by Valeriano Bozal and Concepción Lomba. It features 180 works, including paintings, engravings and drawings that reconstruct the relationship between Goya and other famous artists. From Delacroix to Klee, from Kokoschka to Mirò, from Picasso to Bacon, from Pollock to de Kooning. The exhibition proposes an unprecedented and stimulating comparison between Goya and the modern world. It is divided into 5 sections: The work of time; Portraits (where portraits and self-portraits speak to the renewed analysis of subjectivity); Everyday life (with works that show the consequences of modern society on everyday life); Comic and grotesque (which intends to illustrate the modern world by showing its most absurd aspects); Violence (with representations of war and its consequences).
