Impressionism and Modernity. Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso, Kandinsky, Magritte. Masterpieces from the Kunst Museum Winterthur is an international event that brings to Friuli Venezia Giulia 84 works from the prestigious Kunst Museum Winterthur. The exhibition explores the birth of modernity through the eyes and genius of some of the greatest European masters.
On display are timeless masterpieces by Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Camille Pissarro, Alfred Sisley, Pablo Picasso, Wassily Kandinsky, René Magritte, Piet Mondrian, Max Ernst, Paul Klee, Giorgio de Chirico, and many others.
An artistic journey through Impressionism, the avant-garde, and Surrealism, offering visitors an immersive experience filled with visual inspiration.
The exhibition is curated by David Schmidhauser, Chief Curator of the Kunst Museum Winterthur, and Vania Gransinigh, Director of Casa Cavazzini.
