Keith Haring

Palazzo Braschi
Italy, Rome
6 october 2026 - 11 april 2027

Days of exhibition

The Museo di Roma at Palazzo Braschi is hosting Keith Haring, a major exhibition dedicated to one of the most recognizable figures of the second half of the 20th century: an artist who transformed the line into a public language, the street into high art, and the image into a universal message.

The exhibition brings together over 140 works and materials on exceptional loan from the Nakamura Keith Haring Collection, the world’s largest collection dedicated to the artist, along with major public and private loans. The exhibition traces Haring’s artistic journey from his early works in New York and his iconic Subway Drawings to political posters, sculptures, paintings, and his final works. Throughout his career, Haring expanded his visual language while remaining true to a simple conviction: art must be accessible to everyone.

Designed for the galleries of Palazzo Braschi, the exhibition is organized into thematic sections: the street and the subway, political and social engagement, the body and vital energy, art as a language for everyone, and finally, the symbolic and spiritual dimensions.

The exhibition, curated by Kaoru Yanase, Ilaria Miarelli Mariani and Claudio Zambianchi, is sponsored by Roma Capitale, the Assessorato alla Cultura e al Coordinamento delle iniziative riconducibili alla Giornata della Memoria, Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali, and the Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali, it is co-produced and organized by the Sovrintendenza Capitolina and MondoMostre, with the support of Zètema Progetto Cultura. Premium Partner: Fineco.
