Curated by Tomàs Llorens, the exhibition showcases a selection of works from what is considered to be the most prestigious of private collections. The exhibition starts in the mid-19th century with Lucas Velázquez, Fortuny and Zuloaga, accompanied by a work by Goya. The exhibition then shifts to explore the theme of nature, as seen in French paintings depicting rural landscapes: Corot, Daubigny, and the young Van Gogh. Works by Monet, Pissarro, Renoir, Boudin and Guillaumin are also on display, representing both the Impressionists and post-impressionist era.
